The 90s, and in particular the grunge phenomenon, were a turning point in the musical landscape of the 20th century. Rock, in the broadest sense of the term, lost its glitter and became authentic again, unadorned, unvarnished and sprinkled with a little anarchy.

Grungehog, a combo made up of veterans of Geneva’s rock macrocosm, pays tribute to the spirit of the Seattle scene of that era. From Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Soungarden to Queens of the Stone Age and Alice in Chains, the band captures the essence with deference, rather than playing note for note.

Les années 90, et en particulier le phénomène grunge, sont un tournant dans le paysage musical du XXème siècle. Le rock au sens large perd ses paillettes et redevient authentique, sans artifices, sans fard, et saupoudré d’un peu d’anarchie.

Grungehog, combo composé de vétérans du macrocosme rock genevois, rend hommage à l’esprit de la scène de Seattle de cette époque. Nirvana, Pearl jam, Soungarden, mais aussi Queens of the stone age ou Alice in chains, le groupe restitue l’essence avec déférence, plutôt que jouer au note à note.
